 Ron is an active member in the community supporting / coaching local kids sports and 4-H. Ron and Colette also have a small farm of pure bred black angus cattle. Ron likes to spend time in the wilderness either camping, hiking or hunting and fishing. Sheep and Elk hunting are favorites.

Ron has been in the environmental industry for over 23 years now and has built up a very diverse knowledge base working all over Alberta, B.C and Sask. Ron has been working on spill response, reclamation, remediation, DSA’s, lease construction, pre-construction assessments, environmental inspection for pipelines, facility decommissioning and abandonment etc. for a long period now and enjoys teaching the next generation with on the job mentorship. Ron has a very strong communication set and is often utilized for landowner and First Nations liaison work. Ron is also a ground disturbance specialist for us, working on many complex jobs. Thanks to the diverse team at IH ENV Ron and Colette have been able to provide some cost effective and efficient environmental service to the West Central Alberta area for several years now.

Colette has a degree in Environmental Management from Lakeland College. She has been working in the environmental field for 15+years. Her experience includes projects in decommissioning, environmental

site assessments, remediation, reclamation and ground/surface water monitoring. 

Currently, Colette has been managing a DFO watershed program in partnership with the Sunchild First Nation. It allows her to pursue her interests in water quality monitoring and First Nation Environmental Stewardship Development. In addition to her field work, Colette is a certified safety auditor and manages the SECOR program for Iron Horse Environmental Ltd.

Autumn has worked as an environmental consultant in the oil & amp; gas and mining industries since 2003, specializing in reclamation and remediation projects. Her responsibilities include managing the reporting for Phase I, II, and III ESA’s as well as spill/release assessments. Autumn is also involved in pipeline abandonment and wellsite decommissioning projects, completing reporting and Onestop amendments.

Her role at IHENV also includes involvement with several First Nations programs including a watershed management project completing surface and groundwater sampling on nation, data organization, and communications with the First Nation community.

Autumn’s experience in the field of environment has extended as far north as Nunavut, completing pre-disturbance site assessments and surface water sampling programs for the mining industry.
